The book, a play, is largely a fable. It begins with an introductory scene where Trees of different kinds express their usefulness. As the play progresses, Environmentalist has a blazing row with agents of Apole State Government who want Jaya Forest exploited. Parrot who is kept as a pet in a hall in Eguse where the meeting takes place flies to Jaya Forest to leak the unfavorable issue in the hall to animals living in Jaya. This results in convergence of animals with the main aim of preventing government - backed individuals from occupying Jaya. The animals are unsuccessful in their adventure to forestall the occupation. A second attempt is made by the animals to achieve their objective. It entails appealing to Tree Spirits, who have preternatural power, to help ward off the agents; Tree Spirits’ effort ends in fiasco. Environmentalist’s struggle peaks, when attempting to stop bush-burning by some eco-destroyers at Oran, and comes to naught .He is hospitalized, having been attacked by them.
Logging and agricultural activities of government-supported individuals are not without their negative effects in Jaya and its environs loss of cure-all trees at Iyanita and pollution of the very source of getting drinkable water at Idimu. Community Members, some of them lose their lives, of Idimu contend with damaged health. They have superstitiously and confusedly rationalized their affliction to sins committed by them against their gods. The discovery of the reason for their health challenges by the Apole State Government necessitates giving compensation to the Community Members; however, the process is corruptly handled by two government officials as well as Onidimu who is the king of Idimu. The three men suffer the consequences of their duplicitous behaviour.
The play winds up with an epilogistic conversation among Sun,Land and Sky.

I think this was a good book that was very well written. It was the perfect blend of personification and reaity to create an intriguing, yet meaningful piece. The cause and effects were very good how one event led up to another all stemming from the ecocide at Jay. The discource between sun, land, and sky was very provoking. I would reccomend to anyone who is concerned about the enviroment, or do not really see whythe enviroment ahould be protected at all.Product details

This is a good book. The main focus is on the environment and how not to degrade it.
I read the book and it is very interesting. Will recommend it. it talks the environment and how not to devalue it. Very interesting.
